About This Blog:

This blog is run by me, June Ahn. I began my career in education in the 11th grade when I was hired as a 6th grade Math teacher for the Providence Summerbridge program. I taught inner-city students in Providence, RI for the next several summers as I finished high school and undergraduate studies. I graduated with a B.A. from Brown University in “Computing in Education”, a major I created to explore the impact of technology in the teaching and learning process. Since graduating, I taught high school Computer Science, and was previously the Director of Technology at an independent school in Southern California. I also completed my M.A. in Computing and Education from Teachers College (Columbia University). I am now in my Ph.D studies, focusing on Urban Education. I hope to utilize this blog to organize my thoughts and interact with the larger Education Community on issues of learning, technology, schooling, and my research interests.
